January 20, 2021 – the Saskatchewan Health Authority informed us that there was one case of COVID-19 in an individual at Sheldon-Williams Collegiate.

For the safety of students and staff, and in consultation with Public Health, we have informed close contacts and provided them information about self-isolation. The affected students will begin remote learning based on the their Level 3 schedule and will not return to the school until January 29, 2021.

Letters will be sent to school families on Wednesday, January 20th.

If there are any additional close contacts at the school, they will be contacted directly by Public Health. A close contact is someone who has been within two metres (six feet) of someone for a cumulative 15 minutes.

Please remember that remote learning began for all students at Regina Public Schools on December 14 and will continue until December 18th. The scheduled holiday break is from December 21 until January 1, 2021. Remote learning will resume on January 4 and continue until January 8, 2021. In-class learning resumes on January 11, 2021.

All Individuals who the SHA considers to be in contact with the positive cases will receive a letter from the SHA.

If there are any future close contacts identified at the school, they will be contacted directly by Public Health.

Please send us school appropriate photos that represent you celebrating Grad 2021.  A good suggestion would be a photo of you in your cap n’ gown, dressed up or however you celebrated!  Then, email the best ones to Ms. Bilokury (kayla.bilokury@rbe.sk.ca) and we will do our best to get as many of your photos into this year’s yearbook as we can! Please email your photos to us by Monday June 28th, 2021 by 9 am to make sure we have time to get it in the yearbook!
