Covid Identified

January 5, 2022 – Regina Public Schools has learned of a case, or cases of COVID at Sheldon-Williams Collegiate.

Individuals who may be considered as close contacts have been informed.

If there are any future close contacts identified at the school, they will be contacted.

If any staff, student or school family members show any symptoms, they should please stay home and contact Healthline 811.  Symptoms are described here.

November 22, 2021 – The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) informed us that there was one case of COVID-19 at Sheldon-Williams Collegiate.

All Individuals who the SHA considers to be in contact with the positive cases will receive a letter from the SHA.

If there are any future close contacts identified at the school, they will be contacted directly by Public Health.

June 9, 2021 – The Saskatchewan Health Authority informed us that there was one case of COVID-19 at Sheldon-Williams Collegiate.

Close contacts have been called.

The school remains open. Letters will be sent to all school families.

If there are any future close contacts identified at the school, they will be contacted directly by Public Health. A close contact is someone who has been within two metres (six feet) of someone for a cumulative 15 minutes.

March 27, 2021 – the Saskatchewan Health Authority informed us that there was one case of COVID-19 at Sheldon-Williams Collegiate. Close contacts have been called. Letters will be sent to school families.

Note that as of Monday, March 29, 2021, Regina Public schools will be closed for students; students will be participating in online learning. For more details please read here.

COVID Case Identified, School Remains Open

January 25, 2021– the Saskatchewan Health Authority informed us that there was one case of COVID-19 in an individual at Sheldon Collegiate. 

For the safety of students and staff, and in consultation with Public Health, we have informed all close contacts and provided them information about self isolation. Affected students will begin remote learning and will not return to the school until February 8th.

Letters will be sent to all school families on Tuesday, January 26, 2021.

If there are any additional close contacts at the school, they will be contacted directly by Public Health. A close contact is someone who has been within two metres (six feet) of someone for a cumulative 15 minutes.
