Students in Grade 9, 10, 11 or 12 interested in attending Peer Support Training at St. Michael's Retreat please attend a brief meeting in Room 216 Tuesday (September 15), at 11:50 . Please see Ms. Delsnyder if you are not able to attend this short meeting.

Scholarhips

In Grade 12, considering University of Alberta and Grade 11 marks average are 80% or above in 5 20/30 level classes then consider applying for the Academic Excellence Scholarship Competition . Apply on-line by December 15, 2008 at www.registrar.ualberta.ca/awards. Click on Entrance Awards and Academic Excellence.

Grade 12s if your average for Grade 11 was 95% or above and you are considering University of Saskatchewan. Please complete the application form found in the Guidance Office and return to Ms. Delsnyder's office before Friday, Sept. 19 and she will nominate you for the Greystone Scholars. Or print a copy at http://explore.usask.ca/moneymatters/greystone/

If you are an aboriginal youth in grade 9 to 12 and attending high school full-time please see Ms. Delsnyder for the FAAY scholarship application or apply on-line. You must volunteer in the community/school and have a recommendation letters from one of your teachers and a community member. The deadline is October 15, 2008.

Loran & Canadian Morehead Scholarships Grade 12 students please pick up an application for the Loran Scholarships at the Guidance Office. The scholarship focuses on leadership in the school and community, as well as, marks. The school can sponsor 3 applicants. Please complete your application and return to Ms. Delsnyder by Thursday, September 25 if you wish to be considered for sponsorship. You do not have to be sponsored by the school. Applications are also available on-line.
